Every single one of them became legends. Even after death
Hail Ivar the Boneless!
Yea... but then the blame will fall on the Drachman soldiers and it will start a massive war. Plus the altar is at the border so while he is allowed to enter the altar, he has to take permission to enter the border— which he did. So the authorities know that he is in there.
Yea... no. I said that it is a plot convenience chapter, so I have no excuse. This being trapped situation was pretty lame, I agree. As for the MC being passive? It's the military dude. The world's strongest military to be precise. So if he went against their words he would be considered a national criminal and even countries that have a good relationship with Amestris would declare him as a criminal in their countries. I don't want that. But I will try to explain the 4 weeks trapped scenario with a decent enough reason in the later Chaps.
Only psychopaths will sacrifice a country to create something that one ain't even sure about. Philosopher's stone is a legend for many and he isn't even sure if the descriptions are true. He has no proof that it works so you have to be either psychotic or an idiot to even think of sacrificing humans. He lost a lot trying human transmutation and there is no way he will test out philosopher's stone when it's nothing more than a theory in his mind. I said in the aux chap that MC is not a villain nor does he sacrifice innocents. So, I don't know what you expected. But oh well, not every story is for everyone. *Shrugs*[img=recommend] Hope you find something you like. [img=recommend]
Hmm... I will check it out later then
thnx
In an interview Arakawa explained that alchemy existed before father and that most of the nations practiced it. With time the concepts and beliefs changed and Father moulded the people— taught the countries with no alchemy. Places like Ishval took the hits of time and their people with new beliefs appeared like those fanatics that consider Alchemy evil and against the teachings of god. The ones that followed the ancient forms went into hiding and despite the people hating them, they remained loyal to the country. The latter part is from a forum and not Arakawa as she never explained the reasons behind it. The first part is canon the latter one is based on theories. But she did say that she might explain if she ever made side stories... this will include Mustang becoming Führer, the history of the nations etc.
Did Monkey's writing improve in the later chaps?
