I understand the meaning of the author's system, but if 'magic' is bypassing the laws of physics by grasping the "why", then it means magic exists outside of causality, which is the root of reality. If you break causality, the universe collapses by having paradoxes. The only way to make it work is that every use of magic HAS to rewrite the laws of causality and rewrite every event from the beggining of the universe. My wild guess is that it takes an infinite amount of energy or whatever powers god. But then only gods can do that feat. Then how a simple mom can pull it off? By praying to the gods? But then if gods answer the call of every magic user, then what happens if 2 magicians cast spells that directly contradict each other? That's why it is way simpler to make magic be a way of expressing internal causality (like physics) than external.

To be precise, in 26 hours he will be resting for 6,so 20 hours straight of running to get 1000km done is exactly 50 Kmph

Even tho, 10 drops per game is 0.5ml per game, to have sizeable anemia he would need to play hundreds of games per day at 10 drops a game. It's just - again in every novel- the author having left school too early and not knowing simole maths
