I know complaining isn't good. But although we can't straight up go against capitalism, we can boycott certain brands. Plus there is a point where everything just turns into a vanity and I find it selfish to buy unnecessary luxuries rather than help someone. I'm not one to judge how people spend their money, but I personally find it better to help the world, and sometimes we can be stuck in our bubble and forget that people are in urgent need. I get there's a market for those luxuries and people make a living through those consumers, but again, sometimes we are just living in a bubble of comfort where not being able to study, not having something to eat, not having access to proper healthcare, or not having a place to live isn't even something we can imagine dealing with. It is fair to be compensated by your efforts though, but inequality is very real, many workers deserve more but they can't just quit since they need to survive. Not trying to complain, just slowly spreading the word because for example, in these novels, wealth and reputation is the ultimate happy ending. Most novels end up with the MC being crazy rich. Not that I care too much lol, it's entertaining to see them being lazy and getting rich. But sometimes we can forget about reality and the world's problems.
Uh, I didn't say rich people are happier. I am very aware that money does not buy happiness. As Epictetus said "Wealth consists not in having great possessions, but in having few wants". BUUUUT, of course poorness comes with survival problems that can't be changed. Sure, maybe for example celebrities don't have as much privacy, and their mental health might be doing really poorly. Maybe some rich entrepreneurs have to deal with a lot of stress and responsibilities they didn't have to deal with when they were less affluent. Maybe some rich people in these novels have less freedom on choosing their partner. But you know, that is the trade off for living a wealthier lifestyle. Poor people can't trade anything for survival, it depends more on luck. Everyone has problems no matter how much money they have, but at least rich people don't have to deal with not having food/water, education or shelter (Unless they live in a dangerous area where money is useless and maybe running away from your wealth might be a better option so you don't get plotted against). If being rich comes with problems that are worse than being poor you might as well abandon that wealth. Of course there are always other variables like having a family that needs your income, but a middle class family can of course live well too. I don't understand what is the obsession of being crazy rich. Anyway if I'm very honest I just don't like rich people. People suffer while rich people throw a pity party about their rich person problems, I'm not saying they can't complain but come on... If its health concerns then fine, anyone can have those problems, but I'm talking about their rich person problems (i.e: complaining about taxes that affect the rich). I don't know what the problem the MC was talking about was bc I dropped this, but how bad can it be? Nothing a MC can't deal with. And for some reason MCs always prioritize wealth, I've never seen a MC in a CN LN that didn't have a wealthy ending, how communist, eh?
This is a good one, I've read +1000 chapters (MTLed, but it's an easy to read MTL) until I got tired, it's a very interesting story that can keep you wanting to read more. There's always new drama but it's the fun melon seeds eating sort of drama, it's not frustrating. Although the name makes it seem as if it were mainly a showbiz novel, I'd say this is more focused on cultivation, the FL joins the entertainment just for the ML. The story is very unrealistic and some relationships are a bit nonsensical but it's still very enjoyable. I liked how some characters evolved, even though it might seem like cliché dog blood I think this is a fairly interesting one. Her goal is pretty much saving the ML and helping him recover his memories, while a lot of interesting stuff happens around her. There's school life, family drama, showbiz drama, cultivation drama, and business drama, so it's pretty much an N-in-1.
why does your comment seem like propaganda? the torah isn't even that... feminist.
uh oh I didn't censor it, I hope I don't get banned.
I mean, sure, but a rich person can easily become poor if that's what they desire, while a poor person can't just suddenly become rich. Wealth is unnecessary tbh, it won't buy happiness, but why would someone pity the rich for their rich person problems while others are struggling to survive for the lack of money. I get that with money you also get responsibilities and that philanthropy isn't that simple but come on...
who's gon tell ha
1 or 2 in a thousand is a lot though. If it was this world's population it'd still be millions of people.
what do jews have to do with feminism?
that's kinda dumb tho, it's not as if that were the only job out there. Not all men can become IN operators and there are other high level positions women could have.
