it was only that item because of kazuma personality and his way of thinking. to a girl or someone not him it would've been a different item that would have helped them. it's one of those alignment items that I think I seen in games or read about. like if you have a good alignment on a holy based item it has more damage added but if your evil aligned it curses you and vice versa. when Helena picked the card for him she saw two options since she didn't directly choose it. the boon and the bane. when kazuma lazily chose it without reading the card removed the boon sticking him with the bane that Aqua saw and read. plus I don't really like kazuma that much. sure he's good for a laugh but in person I wouldn't be his friend.

at this point in time they would be starting puberty since they're between 12 and 13 during second year. they'll be larger in later volumes but not to the point of yasaka or Aphrodite from RoR. I want to say around Rias size
