He was tho. The guy was right there in the crowd.
What is this? ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Why tho?
As a writer I have an innate desire to knock at the fourth wall :P
Thanks, will fix it later c:
Maybe, but I'm pretty sure delve is proper enough
Well, we still have insane people ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
No problem, I actually wish more people asked questions about things they are interested in or confused about.
I prefer not going that deep cause I spend literal hours crunching numbers in excel. But the whole idea is for a person that had just awakened, it is usually around 5 casts of 1-Star inferior skill. New rank 2 will be able to cast several dozen of 1-Star superior skill. Actual mana cost varies per skill, but I prefer not to track precise numbers. I tried it in my previous novel and it was just too much work.
It is a bit of the both, actually. My vision of mana is not just some elusive barely physically existant thing, it is more akin to a high energy exotic particle, that is basically a fantasy electron. And by virtue of this physicality, it also actively interacts with everything, people included. That's why unawakened people can be up to three times stronger than an ordinary pre-awakening human, this mana particle binds with ATF molecules within a person's body resulting in way higher energy reserves and peak strength. I'd like to tell more, but that would be spoilers territory :P
Pretty much. But it is more of a casting his skills at a very reduced cost. It does not increase his mana pool.
Not necessarily, the progression is non-linear. That means it is more than 164 to fully exhaust his mana. :P Plus, rank advancements compress mana, so it is denser - more power for the same amount of mana.
Nah, why would you think so?
Having a really hard week at work, but I finally have 2 consecutive days off tomorrow and day after, so I'll update soon.
