Jaden had proven it was possible to bond with them in regards to Yubel and Honest. Their powers stacked on top of his abilities as the Supreme King had made him individually far more powerful than even Yugi and Atem. What if he could bond with duel spirits as well? He is different than other people, with his own problems to take care of in order to grow powerful, just take Hiruzen as an example, despite living more than sixty years he never achieved Hashirama's level, and some like Onoki who lived even more and had dust release was even weaker than him. I'm developing the protagonist in a way that I believe that fits him well, after all, his cultivation will already give him many unnatural advantages over normal Shinobi, but true power like that of Madara and Hashirama's will still be difficult to achieve without sage mode, a tailed beast, a powerful kekkei genkai, etc. Besides, I never said he would be a pushover, just that he wouldn't become Mr. God That Can Do Anything And Everything.
He won't become a god in few chapters, while age immortality will be achieved fairly quickly (no more than thirty chapters), power will take a long time, I assure you that he will only achieve Hashirama/Madara's level (the level they had during the battle at the valley of end, meaning the one before Madara had awakened Rinnegan) by the time of the second shinobi world war, many chapters in the future, before this, his level will just be around that of a powerful Jonin/Hokage.
