I think they set the number of coins by word count. The reason why some chapters are more expensive is because those chapters are longer.

I have only planned for four. Maybe in the future, there might be more depending on how the story progresses.

Also, I shared your concerns about Harem members being underdeveloped, which was why I began writing this novel in the first place. I wanted to create a harem where each member was unique and interesting. However, I can't guarantee that it will remain at four. Sorry to hear your thoughts. I've modelled the premium chapters according to what I've observed from other authors where they would content lock after the first volume. Also, since my release schedule is much more spaced out, I'd thought it would give the readers time to get fast passes and whatnot to unlock these chapters. Perhaps when I'm at a hundred chapters, I will make the premium chapters of Volume 2 free. But for now, it will remain this way. Sorry once again, and I hope you continue enjoying this novel!

Thank you for the words! Yeah, I don't believe that it is required to write 1.5k words a day as that is the minimum pay scheme where you are guaranteed to earn $200 a month. I don't really need that minimum scheme so I'll probably skip it. Even if I'm contracted, I'm planning to stick to my schedule as it is a healthier one for me, and it would prevent burnout. So don't worry, I will likely write this story to completion!
