Marc's death seems like a great waste of character to me, although the writer has shown not to do unnecessary things, I worry that all the time spent on the presentation, development and plot will disappear in such an abrupt way. We just have to wait to see how the story unfolds and if a character with a lot of potential was discarded or was it something that helped the story move forward and improve. I love this story and this comment is not trying to criticize the novel, I just doubt if this was the right decision
