I'm really enjoying this story so far. It teases the reader with hints of what's to come, but leaves you guessing on how everything will play out. 😸

Aesop and Lia are definitely my favorite. I can't say I hate Sanno. He's a complicated character and I don't like how he's using Sanya, but she's not exactly a saint either. Sanno wouldn't have to fake the relationship with her if she didn't view the mutants as simply lab rats to be experimented on. She even admitted she was a hypocrite with how she treats the mutants and how she tells the caretakers to treat them. So Sanno isn't the best guy but his heart is in the right place when it comes to helping the mutants and Lia. The one I really pity is poor Leo. He's in love with Lia but she only sees him as friend/brother.

Out of his family, he seems to have taken after his father and actually has a heart, which is strange for a politician, but also good. I'm not saying he doesn't have ulterior motives to a point, but he seems to be one of the better guys. Let's hope. [img=recommend]
