However, with electro-magnetism, I could create a barrier strong enough to stop an attack. I can do that by creating magnetic fields to exert a braking force to effectively slow an attack down or bring it to a halt. Hiruzen went trough 3 great wars in just his lifespan. They live in a world where weakness results in death. So thier strongest clan doing a coup and killing the leaders of the village, which was their plan, and the same village got destroyed by the 9 tails a few years prior. So the coup would have definitely led to a war. And if you’re wondering why the other villages didn’t attack after the 9 tails was because konoha had the uchiha clan, hyuga, multiple kage level and also the 9 tail jinjuriki. The coup would have killed many powerhouses of the village.

Itachi’s father wasn’t really the big problem yes he was with the coup but all the clan wanted to do it. Also if the coup happened there would have been way more casualties than the 9 tails attack because the uchiha who are stronger than most other Konoha ninjas.

You keep talking about options so go on list a few that could not result in war or the clan dying. Because I don’ t itachi would kill all his family without considering if there is a better viable option

Just look at the uzumaki clan. As great and powerful they were they couldn’ t do anything and got destroyed and you telling me that the uchiha clan could survive when they don’ t have any strong fuinjutsu barriers? Yes ms and sharingan user are strong but imagine multiple village teaming up to destroy you they can’ t do nothing about it. They would eventually go blind too.

I get it but it’s kinda bad idea what if he dies by the hand of the akatsuki because of his talent or dies in the background of the 4th ninja war. Yes taking a brake is nice but he shouldnt slack of in th most peacful years of his life
