I had to check to see if "manoeuvre" was the British spelling of our "maneuver" and indeed, it is. Since this novel is set in NYC, maybe change it up to American English?? In "To Kiss an Idol", since the MC is Indian and the rest of the characters are Korean, British English is fine, of course. Idk, something to ponder...
