it is just about solidifying his base. it's like Jinwoos system, how the system was made for him to develop his strength to the point he can handle the shadow monarch's powers. this is similar to that.

so, I have read till chapter 5, and I have one comment to make. the story is inconsistent and not stable at all. the MC regains his eye, goes to china, meets chozen, controls his 'demons' or something, then immediately comes back to California. it is too fast, and the MC is bland, other than him wanting revenge. the biggest downside is that there are random timeskips that come up any time. plus, I personally don't understand the MC's character other than his need for revenge. overall, a good story which I am going to continue, but I just felt that this review was needed.

troy already kinda rejected Stone before. so when Troy did ask her out, a couple of years had passed. she grew up, Saw Troy as a friend, and since she didn't expect Troy to like her back, started seeing someone else. it's common sense actually.

Symbiotes need hosts to Survive. having The Great sage or Predator doesn't change that. Unless The MC just figures out a way for himself to be sustained without a host, then that's good.
