His last memories as himself were off that night, Halloween 1981. After using the killing curse on the child something happened, it seemed like the curse hit some protection and went back to him. Every day I would go to school on weekdays, run in the afternoon, shower, do homework, practice theoretical magic, and memorise the wand movements for charms such as wingardium leviosa, alohomora, only normal bombarda since bombarda maxima was too much for now, cleaning charms, confundus and others. Even though I didn't have a wand I got a stick similar to a wand a practised the movements for the charms.
