Itachi wasn’t trying to hurt her. He just humiliated and humbled her. Itachi was loyal so he did his best to keep her alive while maintaining his cover. That was his win.
She should have chosen her battles. Just approaching them was a waste of her skill set and vast overconfidence in her own abilities. Had she been guarding and warding the area for people then sasuke may not have had a easy time interjecting in the battle (as yet another nuisance for guy and kakashi to worry about). I mean it was obvious she only did it because kishimoto wanted a worf effect for itachi nonetheless this meta humour employed by the author is starting to annoy.
This Sasuke is scaring me. Well done author, you made sasuke scary….
‘In your eyes’? GG itachi.
First, I was just having fun. Second, I’m not saying he should murder everyone, but he shouldn’t give Batman’s arrogant brat and his band of moody sidekicks any quarter. It’s about power, and the Shadow Monarchs have that in spades, both in what they wield now and what they could become. Meanwhile, the Teen Titans’ greatest asset seems to be running to their proverbial mommy, the Justice League. This comment is not intended to be serious, please don’t take it as such. But seriously, why would he submit to either the justice league or teen titans?
I suppose. It’s not impossible but it seems right out of the left field of things.
did say the writing felt cold, but I also acknowledged that this could simply be a stylistic choice, which is fine. However, my main concern was that the story primarily tells the reader what happens rather than showing it. So far, the characters, including the protagonist, mostly exist as background elements. I’m not a fan of the ‘So, I did X while doing Y’ style of writing, which makes up most of the content so far. That said, I also mentioned that, even though it’s not my preferred style, it’s still fine and enjoyable
This makes me so damned happy. Most protagonists would refuse to use their own power and influence to get things done, I am quite happy that he was willing to actually back up his threats with his real power. No one likes a protagonist unwilling to do what is best, for themselves or others. Thanks for this, it is quite fun reading.
Though, that lesson is not yours to teach. They attacked you in number. I would have gone with something more… permanent.
Did his perv senses go off? *gasp* Is he out to do a uchiha (steal someone’s dojutsu)?
