I understand your concern. But remember, MC was an average teenager who lived a simple life. And when God gave him the choices for his reincarnation, MC didn't gave too much thought to it but to find a way to get OP like Gojo. But soon enough, the MC will face the consequences of his actions.

Jesus Christ, my dudes. Why does it bother you so much? 'Ian' is a completely normal and okay name to have. And it's also completely normal to not want to give up on your original name just because you're in a new world with a new face. Not everyone has a deep desire to change their names.
