If Sanji and Luffy can learn it, why can't he do it with his years of training and the knowledge that it's possible to learn the six powers yourself?

The bullets bounced off Thomas's armor and he punched Wade's face with that energy fist. The raw energy of the arc reactor tore through his lower jaws, turning them into dust instantly, but Wade grabbed Thomas by his leg and slammed him onto the ground. First one, then two... three... four times. Then he crushed Thomas's thrusters and slammed him once more on the ground, creating another crater.

He ran out of the way only to find another two bullets were already waiting for him to run toward them, while he tried to turn his back to them the bullets were already aimed at that place too. The Mark 1 didn't have golden titanium alloy and had issues with the wiring.
