War horses in the imperial army are faster than average horses, and faster than most beginner knights

Wolves can easily run 12 meters per second, and regular archers can only shoot accurately up to 100 meters away from their target (in the best case) I don't know if you have ever tried to shoot with a bow, but I think you have seen too many marvel shows with unrealistic characters, not to mention that it is an army shooting a volley of arrows, so they only shoot as fast as the slowest archer ^^

You can die from old age, heart attack and much more. A Grand knight using tactics, siege weapons and poison can definitely kill a magus, especially assassin-type magi. Us earthlings have managed to blow up cities with puny mortal bodies ^^

It is earlier than canon so...Rank 3 Magi are not on the Southern Continent, where resources are very limited. They are in the central continent, where there are rank 3 magical ingredients. As for rank 1 and 2 magi crossing the ocean to get to the Central Continent, let's say, well it's not possible due to the rank 3 and rank 4 monsters lurking in the ocean 3 Stars like 3 suns

This is my new fanfic on the Magus World. Although it is not canon (different timeline), I believe that this is a nice point of view on the cold and harsh Magus World. The story follows Greem Bluehill, a noble heir who joined the imperial army for the sake of growing his knight skills, accumulating military glory while hiding his magical cultivation as a wandering acolyte!

I mentionned that he is 15 at this point of the story. He left his home at the age of 12, began his cultivation with his meagre talent, became a knight at 14. Ever since he left his home, he spent 3 years at the Imperial Desert Fortress !
