Why would he let her make him a Guinea pig? Because he hurt her feelings for staying away to recover from a life-threatening battle? I'm sure she would feel a lot worse if he died.... She should know him enough by now to understand he most likely wouldn't stay away from her shop that long without a serious reason.... He shouldn't feel obligated to get rough treatment from her.
