And besides, for my first book and compared to many books here with a 4.7+ rating, I'd say that this has been decent so far. reasons (note, at the moment I have only written the first 3 chapters. this is a review of what I'm planning to add): The character won't start off op, but instead will have an interesting journey finding out how magic works, and what he can do with it. He won't be defined by a system, but instead he truly has to carve his way forward to become what he wants to be. He'll make choices, some good and others bad, and he'll have to learn and face his consequences in his new reality, instead of thinking of everything as a game. In this story, the main character will explore the lands of the VERse, staying at some places for months or even years at a time, while studying the world around him and becoming the person he wants to be. All this while dealing with problems between the so called real world, and the new reality he slowly learns to accept as a place just as real as any other.
