Well that's why I'm trying not to sign too many teenagers. Only Muller, Bender and Lewa are teenagers and Lewa is signed as a substitute. There are also veterans signed to help and there are players already in the Leicester squad so its not like they would directly be main players. Yes, thank you for your suggestions. But at that time performance based salaries weren't that popular. Its use was made popular in recent years. Guaranteed wages also help in attracting players. And there was the concern that if wages are based on things like goals and assists, it will lead to players putting their individual performance ahead of the team's. But that salary structure will be popularised by bigger clubs who are already paying huge wages to remain complicit with financial fair play rules, while giving more money to their top performers in a way that does not balloon their wage bills too much.
