Ahhhhhhhhhhh- Okay, but screeching aside, though it hurts to read either way, I like how Faun experienced what Declan usually experiences when Faun just scurries away from him. At least he knows. 🥲 I feel like Cade and Ash will be the comic duo that will give us a breather from the angst from time to time. 👌🏻 I am sort of glad that Declan spiked the cookies to knock Faun out. At least the latter won't have to go through the terror of travelling with werewolves to an unknown place. 😭

*Writhes in pain No words from Faun. Not a single syllable. Just strangled sounds of horror. I cannot even begin to imagine what he might be feeling right now. Declan knew everything from the start whilst Faun was in the dark. He cannot even rebel at this point because he fears Declan. He fears the werewolf in him. And Declan? He is in a pain of his own. The worst being that he cannot afford a moment of weakness. Faun cannot handle Declan being all cold and literally his nemesis. Meanwhile, Declan can't handle seeing Faun all terrified of him. 😭

My head and heart hurt for Faun, and Declan doing nothing to sooth it. He hid his identity from Faun. Fine, I can still understand that reason to an extent. But he could have waited this time. He could have waited for Faun to come to and then ask him. Give him a choice. They need to talk about a lot of things, and I don't think Declan plans on doing that and nor does Faun intend to hear him out. 🥲 I am, however, wondering; Faun fell for Declan, and although the latter claims to be different as Declan Knox, he is still who he was in front of Faun.
