Then Koji’s in for a tough fight if they come to blows. He’s been growing weaker since he left the white room, and though he’s definitely more skilled, Yuji has an amazing natural sense for combat and an extreme pain tolerance.
Ayanokoji at his prime or rusty?
Isn’t that a bit inorganic? It’s not like Akira has a system. Couldn’t he have just felt Nue decompose into some kind of mass of distributable energy or something?
Or like, he felt Nue decompose into some kind of amorphous mass.
Gojo was probably inferring, though he should be able to see Megumi’s cursed energy inside Sukuna. I don’t recall any big connections between the soul and mana in Mushoku Tensei, other than the soul breaking down into mana after death (according to Hitogami, who may be an unreliable source.) I could be wrong though. Whether or not he could tell if Rudeus was reincarnated would probably depend on if his soul carried any traces of cursed energy with it.
I don’t think the six eyes can see souls since they weren’t able to tell Geto apart from Kenjaku.
I’ll cast a vote against only one Ten Shadows user being able to exist at a time. It only makes sense for the 10S to be that exclusive if it’s literally summoning a group of beings that actually exist in the world. But that just sounds like weird head-cannon to me. Cursed techniques in JJK allow their wielders to create phenomena based on stories, ideas, etc., that actually exist in universe, I.e., Achilles paradox (Limitless,) animation frames (Projection Sorcery,) and voodoo (Straw-doll.) While the 10S is an exceptionally sophisticated and high level technique, in the end, it’s just a CT based on the Ten Sacred Treasures. The Shikigami it creates are most likely borne from the technique itself, rather than a pre-existing shadow realm. The death and totality mechanics are also just the function of the CT’s internal logic, otherwise each new user would come with a bunch of dead shikigami. With regards to how it functions in this story, I would imagine that when someone is born with the Kekkai Genkai, the shikigami are born in and summoned from their innate domain. Of course, it’d be pretty scary to have a clan full of Mahoraga suicide bombers. But I imagine 10S would be a pain to breed for. Honestly, I (and the Nara clan,) would just be disappointed if none of Akira’s kids had it.
Yeah, but teen Gojo’s pretty brash. It’s towing the line a bit, but I don’t think it’s too far-fetched.
It’s a martial arts dojo, what’s wrong with challenging it?
These guys are trained super-powered combatants, not helpless civilians. Fights are normal for their crowd. Gojo decided he was going to barge his way in, and they tried to stop him. It really doesn’t feel too out of character for him to beat them up, and Gojo’s always enjoyed violence. He was just raised in that kind of environment.
I mean, they attacked him. Do you expect Gojo to not fight back? It’s not like he killed them.
He can keep it up for several days.
