Unbelievably well written. Has the vibes of an old Chinese classic story. A breath of fresh air among the piles of ai slop and other trash on this app. Super happy I found this diamond in the rough. I’ve read the first volume so far and it was a beautiful story in its own right, good enough to be its own standalone novel. Can’t wait to read the second volume.
AAHHHHHH!!!!!! This is THE moment. It feels like everything in terms of their character development has lead to THIS moment. There’s still so much left to do but it feels like this is a new beginning to the rest of the story. And I think I speak for everyone when I say, I’m so excited for what’s to come.
I suppose I’m probably underestimating how much power his domain adds to his strength but I think it’s hard to really quantify that so I have trouble with it.
I’d like to add we’re talking about a corrupted version of the goat who absolutely terrorized the tomb of Ariel for thousands of years, killing an untold amount of great abominations.
I fail to see how a supreme beast has any chance against a corrupted titan like the mad prince without even being able to use his aspect? I usually don’t like to doubt guilty’s writing but this sounds like some heavy plot armour for Asterion….
Naw I don’t even care, Sunny is the goat. Even in corruption.
Honestly I’m perfectly happy with Cassie just soloing Asterion. I can’t lie, I’ve pretty much hated Cassie’s guts since the forgotten shore Incident. I’m so petty that I’ve kept this grudge against a fictional character for literal years of my life reading this novel despite how much suffering she has gone through since then. But I mean I think it’s time I lay down the hatchet and forgive her seeing as Sunny now made that choice on his own. Therefor there’s really nothing left to hate Cassie for at least in regards to that incident. And without a doubt the person who’s suffered the most in this volume from Asterion has been Cassie so it wouldn’t only be fitting for her to power up at the end and just wipe his existence from the minds of everyone.
Also the whole point of this was to find out how they can use oblivion to defeat Asterion so I think either of them becoming Sacred will probably defeat that point. Also I think Mordret will probably fail his Apotheosis and die or at the very least be severely weakened.
I’m probably very wrong about this and it’s just wishful thinking but I feel like there will be a massive change when Sunny reclaims his fate. Something like his Aspect completely changing or evolving in some way, some hidden requirement that could only be unlocked in this exact moment. Choosing of his on volition to be enslaved once again. Now ideally this fight somehow allows him to undergo apotheosis right then and there and they go back and he claps Asterion like the little b*tch he his but I think that is way beyond wishful thinking and that Sunny and Neph will probably have to go through the spell like they spoke about before.
Personally I don’t care the slightest bit about their battle. It’s pretty obvious that it’s gonna be up to Sunny and Nephis to use oblivion to defeat Asterion at this point. Everyone is just waiting for them to come back and save the day at this point. Not too mention, the only thing I’ve cared about since Sunny was forgotten about by everyone was this moment, I think it’s been what? A year of daily chapters? Waiting for this single moment when everyone is able to remember him again. The buildup for this has been absolutely insane emotionally for me. I could absolutely care less about anything else that’s been going on besides Nephis and Sunny’s adventure right now. This isn’t to say that everyone else’s perspective isn’t important that others have to feel the same as me, I understand that to have an even greater impact, we need to know how much despair and how much is riding on their success but I’m not even joking when I say, defeating Asterion and saving the human race matters significantly less to me than Sunny reclaiming his fate.
