'For chemistry, most of it functions on memorising stuff. Very few concepts require calculations. I'll use my sleeping time to accumulate the knowledge of all the theory subjects. Even though accessing the information from my soul takes longer than through my brain, this is efficient considering my time constraints. anyone not in the know would choose George over jyorta as the psychic parasite, he's just the generic mc type charcter while jyorta is pretty weak as of now

it's just a mental cue, like we use 'i can do this', something to distract you from the pain. even the mc is a living breathing person, you can't expect him to swallow up smthn so disgusting and be fine. and i don't think he is pretending just for the sake of cameras cause the body is bound to have normal reactions, and also cause heima mentioned how even the other pp almost failed the process.
