For his mana, I recall you had it previously at 300 percent before which is just 3 times. But now it is x300. Either way the math is wrong. 300 x 31 is not 3100. That would be x100. x300 would be 9300 mana.
Invisibility not invincibility. Two very different things.
Overall the writing isn't bad, but there are some places where the lack of experience shines through making the reading awkward. we don't say three fifty hundred. we would say 35 hundred for 3 thousand 500. Also when he said "How does that affect you?" and the reply was "Not particularly." is an awkward response because it doesn't make sense in response to the question.
I wonder if the trial will heal his core or if he ends up eating the creatures and healing his core that way.
Is it Blaine or is it Briar? I would really like if the name could be consistent.
I don't think you even understand the word ration but that's what I get for arguing with an idiot. Goodbye now. Stop talking to me, loser.
yep ration a small pill into tiny little pieces. makes sense. why didn't I think of that?!
Are you an idiot? Your comment is what made it a spoiler. I made this comment right when this chapter came out 3 years ago. Use your eyes.
No problem, it was only a suggestion though. Don't let me influence anything. Just wanted to give an idea about how to fill a hole in the plot.
You might want to go back go earlier chapters and consolidate the progression. Readers are hit with this new subordinate out of nowhere. The journey for the elixirs is flat. You could easily go back and add that she is of a rare breed of omni-mage or something and that is what allowed her to get the elixirs because they only allow a mage with all basic or whatever affinities to access them. Cause it makes no sense that she goes to these places that common people know of the elixirs but she gets there with no trouble and is the only one to grab the elixirs without any fights. The plot is basic revenge but it's starting to turn into a progenitor of demons plot. This opens up a path for some cool lore and world building. So I like where you're heading.
