kuromi liked to use ice (a primarily control element), and nytri used nanobots (which consume). with shiro doing both it makes sense that in this context kuromi controls, and nytri consumes. the halves coming together form shiro, but right now they're separate.

Honestly its really smart to tell them he has a god complex. That way no matter how often he shouts about being a god, they'd just think it was his complex talking, and not the actual truth. By telling them hes crazy no one will take his words seriously/literally.
Though Shiro didn't tell the elders nor the attack force about the Light God's true identity. All they know is that they're fighting against a psychopath with a god and hero complex. whenever the eyes are described I end up thinking about how similar it sounds to Diablo's eyes from that time I got reincarnated as a slime. even though its pretty obvious they're different.
