The grammar really holds this work back he describes the lake in one of the non privileged chapters as this lake is beautiful because it is beautiful. They have had chances to change it but they haven't even when a reader points it out for them to learn. Expressions are used wrong in places with added letters on words that don't need them like (this is an example) grasses where it would be grass there are also unnecessary words where they don't need to be like 'a trash' where it should be trash. Needs a revamp and it would be pretty good. I don't remember it being so bad when it first came out but maybe my memory is too foggy

Everything is useless against him. Unless you are quite literally stripped of emotions it is impossible to interact with him without contributing to brain dominance. I wonder if killing intent is picked up as an emotion or just a reaction because of so it is quite literally impossible to kill him. The story would end with gris hiding out somewhere until he dies since he wouldn't be able to face him even with the opportunity to kill him or losing.

Who knows maybe there is a potion that can negate the effects or repress them temporarily until he can leave the trial

Hmm no clue who is on the cover tbh. Last time I guessed i was extremely wrong. It could be sara again just without the katana the only other person i could think of if it's not her is isadora. Question it's been one thing after another in the academy how far are they through the first year? I'm guessing he has to finish the academy before he can plus I'm sure he has other plans with the dungeon too that he can't enact until he has a free schedule and he won't be able to help Isadora with her quest either.

Does lux's ability have no downside like a predetermined range that the skill works in or since the ability works on the person having to have a specific feeling about him and then he has to talk to them could the mc not like. Make a one time use sniper using his 'sisters' explosive alchemy and his 'father's' alchemical fortitude and kill him from afar so that either his emotions can't be sensed or lux's words can't be heard?
