I cannot stress my body past the limits I am straining it to when I write this review; everything is beautiful. This novel does so many things right. Everybody's reaction to Beru's actions and personality make this moment the highlight of the novel, mainly becoming the slice of life aspect of it. Beru is just quite 'quirky' in his personality that is hook, line, and then the reactions of the surrounding people is the sinker. The battles he fights in pull out just a moment of "will he actually win this?" Only to force the idea out of your mind because he has the willingness to survive. The novel makes the protagonist overpowered yet still builds that suspense that he might not make it, as each battle he fights in becomes more and more difficult to win. The balance of desperation, knowing the outcome regardless, and accomplishment makes this if not one of the best novels to ever be on this site. I remember years ago reading this novel and being in denial that there was around 60 chapters at the time. I checked back every day to not see a single update, I wasn't sure if I thought the novel was dropped or not, but I held hope that it was still continuing. Stumbling across this once again and finishing it is definitely the best thing to happen to me in months, and I'm ONLY writing this review because I could not stop going back to this novel and re-reading it. I'm still barely able to hold back tears because the novel is finally finished. I would beg for the author to write another story like this with a nonhuman character, but I don't know if he will see this. If you read this, PLEASE tell me if you'll create another one like this again. I absolutely love your novel and hope you produce another one like this. Thank you for this novel so much!
