"Yuan Ying" is Nascent Soul and "Out of Aperture" would be "Ascension" or "Ascended Realm" elsewhere. Following that are "Distraction" which should be "Separation" or "Nihility" in some novels. Followed by "Combination" which is "Reunion" elsewhere, and finally, the last one which I forget what the author/translator called it, is essentially Half-Immortal. When someone goes past that stage they become a "xian" or "Immortal" and MC is a Saint.

To learn by rote means that someone has memorised the answers but may not understand how to apply reasoning to gain those answers in another situation. One example of rote learning is "Mitochondria is the powerhouse of the cell". It answers the question "What is mitochondria?" at a base level but if asked to explain what mitochondria actually do and how that affects cells the student won't be able to answer. Another example is memorising times tables as compared to actually learning the mathematical theory like they do in schools now.

No, we just don't need to use all of it at the same time. I don't need the parts that talk to my mum, do maths, and have a fap to run simultaneously... most days. xD
