I like most of the characters, consistent psychology and behavior compared to most web novels. The MC can be really frustrating though. Theoretically loves someone enough to sacrifice everything for them... then routinely walks away for months or years with no contact. This really breaks the story for me when he stays away from Earth when he has foreknowledge that could be fatal to her and his family, ultimately leading to their abduction due to his negligence. Communication is so broken in this story, similar to "Strongest Abandoned Son".

I just feel he needs to pick someone ( probably Cleo since she could maybe talknto him on Earth) to be his confidant and stop gaslighting at least that one person. Trust is a two way street. The dragon doesn't really seem emotionally supportive enough to fill that roll.
