I have only been on the site a short time. I have little familiarity with cultivation as a story concept. Therefore I look to find stories that don't use it or other unfamiliar elements. This story fits my parameters pretty well. The wishes a the beginning rather than a more codified CYOA or other mechanism is more common on this site, but works well enough. The story is fun. Builds quickly, but fairly well so far. Also the prose is clean enough to not cause me issues reading it. I am enjoying the story and looking forward to reading more.

And I must compliment you on your English. I'm not sure if you're a native speaker or not, but I've found no issues that have damaged my enjoyment of the story.

It did seem odd that GW managed to out draw a the skull to get off the crucio. I think the author underestimated the Skull in a physical situation.

I am not sure why, other than plot reasons, Tom is hesitant to declare himself Slytherin's heir. He did so in canon as a way to build reputation in the house. It would make things much easier for him. And speed up his missions.

Why do you call him Thomas? If his full name was Thomas Marvolo Riddle, his anagram would be different. It makes no sense that he would shorten his first name while using his full middle name. Or so it seems to me.

In terms of pairings, I strongly suggest that he dates several women, not necessarily at the same time. It is a rare person that only ever dates one person in their whole life or even during the whole secondary school career. Tom is said to be a handsome, charismatic boy. HE should date several girls through his time at school. Afterwards it depends on what happens to him. Just my thought.

I am still not sure what country this is taking place in. If WWII was mentioned in 1941 then it sounds like it is in the UK or other European country. Did the US have blackouts, curfews, and war pricing before 1942?

It just occurred to me that in the Marvel comic of yore (back when I read them regularly) the premier university in NYC was Empire State University. That was were Peter Parker was a grad student, where Richards and Doom met, and Emma Frost attended. Richard "Nova" Rider, Felicity "Black Cat" Harding, and Doreen "Squirrel Girl" Green all were students.

You mention the "requirements" for doctorates, masters, professors, etc. several times. They do not match my experience as an academic in the US and other countries for 20+ years. I am curious if you are basing them off of the traditions in a specific country or if they are simply your current understanding or the way you think it should be? Still enjoying the story. It seemed a little odd to defeat Magneto off screen given his position as one of the top five/ten super villains/omega mutants. Nonetheless enjoying the story.

A voluntary de-power to fit in with the supers. I would like to see how his current stats directly compare - ST = Beast? Colossus? Juggernaut? AGL = Daredevil? Nightcrawler? Spiderman? MartArts = Daredevil, Black Widow, Iron Fist? Psi = Psilock? White Queen? J Grey? Prof X? Energy Manipulation = Jubilee? Pyro? Cyclops? Magneto? All sorts of possibilities.

I have only gotten to CH 28 so far, but will certainly continue. I am enjoying the story greatly. I like that he is rapidly growing in power, yet continuously meets with more powerful beings. The prose is good quality with standard grammar and interesting word choices. The balance of introspection/power building v. action/interpersonal interaction is skewed a little too much towards the former, in my opinion. But that may change and is not as much so as many gamer/cultivator fics I have read. The world building and magic system are interesting and deep. I am looking forward to Arc 3 where we will see him interact with Marvel supers (I anticipate). It will be curious to see where he falls on the power scale among them. I would like to see him build more personal connections. To see more of him as a person through interactions with other people. We have seen some. I want more. Thank you for writing this and sharing it with us.
