I picked this up because the title caught my attention, but after the first two chapters I was hooked. The author does a great job balancing humor and suspense. One minute I'm laughing at the chat, and the next I'm wondering how much Luna actually knows about Kai. What I like most is that Kai feels like a real person. His reactions to suddenly going viral, getting flooded with money, and trying to convince himself that none of this is weird feel believable. You can see how easy it would be to ignore the red flags when your life is finally starting to go your way. Luna is definitely the highlight so far. She's equal parts supportive, creepy, and mysterious, which makes every interaction with her interesting. The ending of Chapter 2 genuinely made me want to keep reading. If you like psychological horror, mystery, and stories that slowly build tension while keeping you entertained, this one is definitely worth checking out.

I decided to give this a try because I enjoy apocalypse and survival stories, and I'm glad I did. The first chapter pulled me in right away. The atmosphere feels tense, the world already seems dangerous, and the opening scene does a great job showing how quickly people can change when survival is on the line. Mark and Gavin were probably my favorite part of the chapter. Their interactions felt natural and gave the story some personality without taking away from the seriousness of the situation. The mutant reveal was also a nice touch and made me curious about what else is hiding in this world. For only twenty chapters, the story has already done a good job setting up the mystery and survival aspects. If you're a fan of zombie apocalypse stories with dangerous creatures, interesting characters, and plenty of potential for world-building, this is definitely worth checking out.

This story starts picking up quickly and hooks you in just as fast! It starts just the way a progression story should and makes me excited to see where the story goes from there. I can't wait for the next chapter!

This first chapter did a really good job building tension slowly instead of rushing straight into chaos. The normal college-life scenes mixed with the growing virus news made everything feel unsettling in a good way. The truck driver transformation scene was creepy and memorable, and the dialogue between the characters felt natural. There are a few grammar issues here and there, but the atmosphere and pacing easily kept me interested. Definitely enough to make me want to keep reading and see how the outbreak unfolds.

This is honestly one of the more interesting romantasy system concepts I’ve seen in a while. The whole “vows are power” mechanic gives the story real tension because every promise actually matters. I also really liked the mix of palace politics, mystery, and LitRPG elements without it feeling overloaded. Lillian and Ethan already have strong chemistry, and the unfinished-story angle keeps things unpredictable. Definitely deserves more attention.

This story hooked me much faster than I expected. The pacing starts strong right from the beginning, with action and tension showing up early without feeling rushed or chaotic. What really stood out to me, though, was the character building. The characters already feel distinct and believable, and their interactions help the world feel alive instead of just existing as a backdrop for combat and progression. The progression elements are satisfying. There’s clear effort put into atmosphere, momentum, and emotional investment. Im curious if you're writing this as a stand alone book or plan on writing more in a series? Also is this the only genre you write in? You should definitely give litrpg a go as well
