I love the twists of events in this story. I thought for the first time I will be seeing a lovely step mother but oh no this Duchess is a hard knock if only she knew she would have fate to contend with haha. Interesting character development too. Kudos to this author. I can't wait for the next chapter

" Let me call Casime, " Ela said reaching into her bag to bring out her phone. When I looked around the party venue, the few people around were all strange to me. I had expected to see a lot of familiar faces since the surposed celebrant was Casime lover who used to be our class mate at the University. Casime and I were never friends and will not consider us as enemies either. We have had a little misunderstanding over a guy in our school days but we managed to move past it. At least so I thought. We never got along much after the fight between us although we gave each other a good front to say hi when ever we saw after then. Casime was one of those busy bodies who always thinks she could outshine any one. She also was known for her multiple relationships. One thing I liked about her was how she could light up a place with her funny stories. She was mostly very happy and we saw her as news carrier. If anything was happening in school, Casime would be the first to know. She usually gave us the latest gist on campus. "I hope we would get along better now that we are no longer in schoo"I swallowed under my breath. It's been three years after graduation and I have not set my eyes on her after our graduation ceremony. If it was not for the expection of seeing my class mate, I wouldn't have gone for the party but now that everything seems weird, I wondered if I have not made a wrong decision. 'Well I needed to take a break from my hunting thought'I tried to console my self. I went over to meet Ela who had been on the phone.

My eyes followed him as the bus moved, but he got smaller until I could no longer see him. I felt a thump' in my heart when I could no longer see him.

What was surposed to be a casual chat has now hunted her life. Osima's life never remained the same after having a chat with a surposed stranger who she felt she had met in another life. She must find him but would he recognize her? Karl has always had a free life away from his family control but a meeting changed this decision. For her he was willing to stay back in the country and work for his family. For her he also fought his family in order to give her a proper title only to find out a night before the wedding that he had picked the wrong bride. The woman he had wanted had been so close, is not that he had never felt his heart flutter on the few occasions he saw her, it's just that he had always over looked it. Karl is caught in a conflict between both women, He had to choose between the fiance carrying his unborn child or a familiar stranger.
