Safe to say, this is a breath of fresh air compared to most stories here at Webnovel. In fact, I don’t believe I’ve ever seen a quality story in recent times that has its main character be a genuinely good person without ulterior motives/mental issues. He doesn’t do the “I don’t kill” rule nor spares scumbags because he doesn’t want to stoop to their low. No, he’s a GOOD guy, not a HARMLESS guy. First of all, the writing quality is holding up really well. It strikes a good balance between details, plot progression, and making sure to cut down on walls and walls of text without sacrificing grammar and flow. If there was anything to critique, it’s that there’s yet to be a coherent plot-line. Of course, this story is just at its infancy, and a bit of background on what Homelander has been up to is warranted. Next is both the stability of updates and world background. Now, I won’t say much about it. The first five chapters were published within around an hour between each chapter, with its contents focusing on Homelander’s deeds. The changes he’s caused have already started popping up, but as it stands with only five chapters, I can’t be so biased. Hopefully, updates remain frequent once the schedule has been stabilized as well. So far, the story has been developing at a brisk pace, but it doesn’t feel like you’re being left behind in the dust. There’s enough context there to let you enjoy the book, even if you aren’t familiar with The Boys. It’s incredibly satisfying to watch how much the main character does and see the stark difference of how he treats the world compared to his original counterpart. The actual plot hasn’t even begun, but current events have more than enough substance to fill that gap. Lastly, character design. What can be said? It’s shaping to be pretty good based on what’s shown. Characters are realistic, even while discounting the fact that they’re from The Boys. None of them, at least the main and supporting cast, are one-dimensional cut outs that only fulfill cliche roles in the story. Now, Homelander, while he’s absolutely carrying these chapters, acts more as a source of change that impacts the plot. It would be a delight to see his inner conflicts and watch him grow despite the corruption of hero society, but even if that took secondary focus, he’s such a good dude that it’s hard to be disappointed. The only thing left to say for the author is to be careful not to get burnt out. Take things at a steady pace, and know what you want for the story. I’d rather have one chapter per week with exciting writing and plot than 3 chapters a day with idle talk/repeating content. I’m excited to see things unfold, so keep up the good work.
Thank god it's not another "lean" or "swimmer" build. Where would the masculinity be elsewise? There is no such thing as too bulky. The defining feature of a Hanma lies in the definition and, more importantly, strength of their muscles.
"Mature", really?
Accidental Rizz?
Odin trying to get that Liu Kang energy
P h o t o.
Homegirl setting up a Meta Team Comp
LET. HER. COOK.
The rizz is insanity
Oh buddy boy will this be quite the surprise for you
WHAT!? MONSTER HUNTER?! More importantly, you need to rest every now and again so you don’t burn out. Take care of your health, for the sake of yourself and your stories.
You’re welcome! Whichever one you decide on, I’m going to keep reading and see where this story can lead to. Somehow, it’s difficult to find SOLID FGO works despite the game’s popularity, so it’s pretty hype to see this book show up while I was scrolling. (Btw, any chance Mash and/or Gudako can squeeze into the harem? Just asking. 👉👈)
Olga isn’t all too necessary to keep, as her death practically serves as the catalyst for Gudako to really begin the journey to restore Humanity. Without Olga, another magus, Fujimaru really becomes the last Master, without exception. Through this, Romani Archaman is also forced to take charge of Chaldea, giving him importance toward the story, making the future climax of FGO’s first half (The Singularities Arc) have that much more impact. Of course, if you’re inclined to keep her and make her relevant even in the future, that’s perfectly fine too. Based on a paragraph from the Type Moon Wiki, “The preservation of Human Order itself is something that she only seeks out of a sense of obligation to her father, who she idolizes. Privately, she does not even know for certain what it means to "preserve Human Order" and merely wishes to show the world that she is able to fulfill her responsibilities as director; even then she does not think it would bring her any pleasure and is uncertain if she could ever find happiness.”, this insight into her inner thoughts can be used for further character development, having her bloom into an independent person with her own wants and doesn’t act merely through lingering duties toward her father or Chaldea. Something like that. P.S. SPOILERS AHEAD Olga makes a resurgence in the second-half of FGO (Cosmos in The Lostbelt). The character does not actually revive or anything, but, similar to getting another saber-face, a new character is introduced with her appearance. It’s a completely different person that just has her body as a vessel. Whether the REAL Olga is alive or not remains unknown, but if you want more details on this look-a-like, search “U-Olga Marie” on the Wiki.

Now, brothers and sisters in Christ, I understand it’s a bit strange, but seggs with the slime isn’t a bad thing, right? I mean, we’ve yet to see what happens when a slime gets with a male, so this is the prime opportunity to observe what can happen. More than that, I’m extremely horn- INVESTED in this relationship dynamic these two would go through. So, it’s fine, right?
“in” Rimuru huh? Nice.
We pray for victory. Latom.
If anybody from Baki was actually here, there would be no competition. I’m sorry, but the MC will get humbled FAST if those people existed.
