Hi Ana, I was not asking a question, I was posting a correction. That is why there are quotation marks around she. Most likely the author mistakenly wrote he... but it's been a while since I read this. So when you seen a sentence with a word in quotation marks it indicates that is the correct word and needs changing. hugs

Dear Author this story needs to be proof read and edited. You have created a fun, interesting and at times gut wrenching story, it deserves better treatment! a person has only ONE LAP, no s. If they were all placing their hands in their laps okay but if only one person then one lap.

since I have been "imposing" so much.
hair is both singular and plural. however you could use an s for "we found several hairs at the scene of the crime." but for the most part you only refer to her beautiful hair...
stands up "for" me not to me... when someone stands up to you they are arguing against you.
