The romance feels basic and underdeveloped when the only opinions are "ugh I hate when there is other girl besides me". It comes off as not understanding women and treating them as some other thing that can be wooed and won. I mean, should all the women compete for your attention? Should your travel companion care about a random girl you saved? She is supposed to be quite old, and while she may have not experienced love before, it is strange for her to care and be so aggressive at the sign of a threat(?). I hope it gets better in the future, but it seems a bit self serving and self insert-like when every female loves him for one reason or another and their personality on the pages becomes "grr, I hate other women!" it's unrealistic and a bit demeaning. I look forward for some character development of the women that gives them depth other than shallow beauty. p.s. I hope felicity becomes more than 'so beautiful that other women hate her. literally the previous problem but with the potential to be way worse.
