when you think you might lose someone you don't always think it threw. I think you will end up being right in the end because of what the writer has said I just think that reality would be more complicated. let's say all 3 of them were in the other world together and the daughter got captured would one parent leave and go tell the other kids or would the 2 try to just solve the problem real fast and get back by dinner... I think the 2nd then tey get in over there heads and get captured as well and all of them get there portal points changed. I think it's reasonable to think this could happen. then once they have a bit more freedom they send some money and try to set up a few things for the kids but for the most part back off to keep the people that are holding them un aware of what's going on. and over time they tell themselves that the 2 boys are better off without them. is it right to act like that NO! is it understandable I say yes but only just. should he be mad at his mom... yes. should he act like she killed Danny I say no but it's understandable that he would blame her some. but she did not send him in he could have just stayed out and not risked it he was an adult when he died and he made his own decisions.

I am not saying he should like her and you would know better then me about what his m9ther has been up to I just was getting a vibe that his mother was not contacting him for a reason like if she contacted him too much the people she works for or with might come after the family she left behind but I guess I was wrong I thought you were going to juke us and be like she actually will try and help

if you daughter was kidnapped would you leave your other 2 kids safe and sound or drag them off to the ends of the earth there are 2 ways to look at it leave the kids safe but with abandonment issues or drag them along and possibly get them killed too I know what I would pick

he has no clue what she has been doing she could have a good reason or atleast some answers but all he does is yell and get mad. they could have a huge family that they have to take care of in the other world and be in a huge war. and all there dead relatives have been revived there. and it's possible has sister was captured or there fathers is still held hostage. They could be part of the human supremacists because some of them were captured and not be allowed to talk or see their family and they could be soul bound not to inform him. Him going off on his own box about how bad his life is just does not make sense. They had a house and his parents never abused them some kids just never know how good they have it...

I always thought that with these novels the best way to win a war is hit and run just send some mid level people before you declare war to blow up all the towns in the country side that have no powerful people then nations would be crippled from lack of food/raw resources
