Why taste should’ve just picked smell
He should be able to rim graze since 5’9 isn’t the shortest but not being able to dunk in game is understandable.
If he’s that good by NBA standards no way he didn’t get an offer.
Bro ik he’s short but he’s not like 5’7 and below there’s a good chance a D1 program would offer him like maybe not a famous school but he’s good enough to play D1 your overestimating the standards for D1 teams as a whole for teams like Duke or Kentucky.
Isn’t AAU, Highschool and isn’t their a ban on going to the leauge straight out of highschool?

It’s been awhile but honestly I’m excited to see how u write from a receivers perspective( I’m a little bias since I played reciever)since until now I feel like you’ve put so much detail into this book. Regardless though I’ve been waiting for this moment I’m not gonna rush you to develop Jackson since I understand that’s just not his character but seeing him on the field or on the track or just doing something is definitely something I’ve been waiting for. I’m also interested In what type of a reciever you plan to build him as whether it’s a fast route runner or an athletic freak that wins every jump ball or contested catch. I know you want highlight the mental part of being an athlete with both of them, but please give Jackson some on field action too it just seems like a waste with all his resources he has available. Btw unless his team are like state champions in their conference it shouldn’t be hard for him to be like varsity slot or 4th string receiver while just playing some JV games at least that’s what happened to me until I was starting consistently. Anyways good chapter as always kee going.
Dude for your first time this was amazing take this from a person who enjoys sports novels and when there’s practically none 🥲 I appreciate the effort u put in to try to understand the sport instead of just winging it. Even though it seems like u don’t like to write sports novels I recommend u write one eventually because I’d definitely read it.
Yo great story so far and btw try not to overlook things like conditioning and weightlifting along with pre szn workouts the school usually has since tryouts are always before tryouts and of course we want to see him get faster and stronger and jump higher, you don’t have to go to deep into it if you don’t want to a quick mention would work. Also I feel like since his basketball IQ is high he would be a good passer and of course a good off ball scorer. Not tryna tell you how to write your story I’m just excited for a rare sports novel that’s actually good.Keep Going
I get that aau might’ve been too much or tough to write but it seems like a missed opportunity
There moms are actually weird especially Claire
