I read this from start to finish with no breaks, I rarely give 5 stars but I had to in this case, the growth of both the protagonist and author was something special to watch. It’s not perfect by any means, the story that is…but it’s flaws don’t hinder the message the author tries to deliver and I think that’s very special. The last few chapters were really mind blowing. It’s was a fresh direction and can’t wait for the author to come back

Mortal Kombat exists for a reason, a fight/spar isn't really combat Combat is you waking up to seeing someone above you with a knife, a fight on the other hand is a spar or any other thing tho it can be lethal as well. But like you said, it is her perspective
