tldr I was trying to explain how there could be a potential of 23 1/2 because it was suggested as an amount as it said nearly 24 instead of a exact number

I was trying to explain two separate ways for there to be 23.5 or 23 and a half guys, and those were 23 normal people and then just a half a body, weather it's split vertically or horizontally or just randomly split into interconnected peices (basically imagine removing removing a middle peice of a puzzle, then just more random puzzle peices until half of the puzzle is left), or it's 23 guys and one guy who is half alive, which would mean the 1/2 a person would mean the guy was soon to death and likely make it 23 soon, but it's still more than 23, or half dead means that he is in a state where he is basically halfway to death but yeah ignore that

his brain probably hasn't fully comprehended the circumstances he is in so he is currently still assuming everything is mostly normal, other than the fact that there is a monster and a dangerous sun, and his brain is going to probably rationalize everything with maybe the entire monster being the result of a virus or if it was mentioned as a result of the sun then a radioactive mutation and assume the sun just ended up getting a boost in fuel and therefore becoming way stronger and causing erraridation or whatever

okay on the first chapter when it said that I ended up commenting that it took me like a while to notice that it was likely referring to covid based on the date of the thing or whatever, I originally thought it was referring to the prologue in chapter 1 when it mentioned that it was a certain amount of years after a "certain event", or I could be wrong and the event hasn't been revealed yet

we have advanced technology so even more advanced technology isn't as much of a mystery to us and electricity is while probably pretty complicated very wildly accepted, now if we just image magic as electricity then you could think of regular magic being alternating current or ac type electricity and holy power being direct current of dc electricity, we don't really know the difference between the two unless we remember high school but we do end up just taking it as common knowledge that they are both types of electricity, and by that logic we have mana and holy power, holy power is very easy to believe as another form of mystical power just like mana or even just another form of mana as they are both unknown forces which aren't really well defined but are different enough from the norm to not need a definition, both are used to cast spells and both are invisible to the naked eye, so holy power can't be proof, I already said In my last comment why we can't take gods as it could very well be that gods are like Jesus and don't come back for thousands of years, and why only the churches have holy magic is very possibly just a secret technique

god's don't tend to really directly interact with the world itself that often, and everyone has magic so it's pretty believable that there aren't any gods as at best they decent every few hundred years or something, in the end most of it is similar to our world, and for healing, it can easily be another form of magic in the eyes of someone being willing to believe it, also a problem with the entire "the one you pray to" or whatever line is that there are a few different Gods in this world so they could easily pray for a different God.

the avatars are from a different world which doesn't have our atmosphere and to them out atmosphere is deadly and poisonous so it's pretty likely they don't have what makes our blood red In then and just have something to make it blue instead of the hemoglobin or whatever turns out blood red or causes it to be red.

it might be a little off the general sight most people see of the direction of the story and having a sight on a gun could have sniper glare helping give away ones position and you would have to raise your head a bit more to see into the sight which could be bad for him.
