It's definitely accumulating. It 's buying him time, resources, and influence to develop the necessary foundation needed to topple the Brits and propel France. Some of the examples are when he set up the lightning company to prevent Brittain from attracting more investment and talent while draining their coppers; Messing with the interest of East Indian Company which cost the Brits immense military expense and weakening their hegemony in India and diverting their attention away from Tunisia; the "Special Trade" to train more sailors and to create a market for French goods; and most recently the chaos in the Bahamas which allowed France to have the edge in the sugar market and expand the influence of francs. And the reason why the Brits are now thinking about war is because they are definitely being "affected".

i forgot to mention the economic development is just impeccable. The MC really has taken into account the different phases of development needed to create a robust economy and this makes it even more realistic. Every government policies implemented under the MC'S push takes into consideration the interest of various factions within and outside of France. He is not overly idealistic and has an amazing foresight. (I know he is reincarnated so this is given but still..)

i concur! Aside from the reincarnation part it doesn't feel like a fictional work but a genuine historical record. He did really well on describing what it was like back then. Also the geopolitics in play gives you insights on a lot of things.

I've been reading a lot of kingdom building novels but this one takes 1st place. Just the depth of political schemes, introduction of technology, political and military reforms, geopolitics, and challenges on implementing them are explained really well without rush. What i really like is that the MC really knows that violence doesn't solve everything which is rare. The characters have depth and are well written. Looking forward to more chapters! Im currently on the sugar war part of the story and i feel like i should give this a rating lol. I recommend creating an illustration or a political map of this period tho, the political maps i found on Google doesn't have all of the places mentioned and i have to use Google map to locate some of them just to give me more immersion.

it was stated before that the dungeon will probably spawn other new ant species because of the Formica Sapient success. Imagine these new ant species selecting the Nascent Hive Mind unlike Anthony who selected the Juvenile Colony Paragon. What will happen? They would be like the Tyranids from the 40k universe
