It would probably be revealed at some point anyways, and they seemed kind enough at first impression. from his lack of knowledge of the area, He is obviously foreign.

He just has to keep the fact that he possess the Spring of Time a secret. there is no real way For the enemies to discern the real use of the locket. for all they know, it could be some sort of stealth amulet. Thanks for the feedback
