5 stars because this point of view (op character and admin of the chat groupe) isn't at all common. And even if there are some problemes it is still very good.

For me, both are good. Personaly, i like if the story start before the plot/main storyline so that the mc can be strong at that time but of course, you can do whatever you want, it's your story after all.

Space magic can be good for her with spatial manipulation that can act like telekinesis or barriers for protection, portal/gate for teleportation, or for exemple, an attack variant that separate space in the path of her attack...
