I think it has to do with the cutthroat environment nick is in, his roots remain relatively the same but his outlooks in moreals are changing based off of exp

in all fairness Micheal is clearly holding back, like he hasn't used extraction or any cursed seals yet also to boot Micheal has only awakened around 2 years ago, ontop of that he has only recieved proper training for 2 years. but in all fairness the memory orbs help him assimilate battle exp but also the person Micheal is fighting is peak tier 4 and been fosteres by the nest since their birth

I like it, it's funny like the being bald gag albeit nerve wracking but kinda funny

inhancement and extraction are bi far micheals most op soul traits cause they both amp everything else sorta

it does seem like in the story micheals foundation and or affinity with the higher star soul traits are relitivly rushed because he only got access to them a month ago along side the fact he is facing a peak tier 2 lord which by techniqality should be like 6x stronger then him I think alongside the fact that the enhancement on the deers garment is what helped it escape also this person could have been born with 4 relitivly string elemental soul traits so it does makes sense
