The female of that 5-star pair actually had blue potential, but nothing else that stood out other than that, and I was pretty sure that I would be able to find at least one Larvitar with deep blue somewhere on this mountain, so I chose to ignore the female, especially since I was aiming for a male that I could name Godzilla. You’re half right - in the dark ages, if a girl was not married by 14 she was considered an old maid, and if unmarried by 18 she was a spinster.
