Resources will always be limited. That’s why the price mechanism is so important. It’s a message to the market to say resources should be spent here. Infinite improvement is impossible; however, we are no where near level. For example, the world now produces more food on less land than ever and that metric is still improving. Also, property rights encourage sustainability over a “grab everything” mentality. Capitalism is not a magic wand that can change the laws of the universe, but it is the most effective method for distributing resources (when governments don’t meddle).

That’s stupid. It makes far more sense to have him be loved and respected for “protecting” the village from the Nine-Tails. Makes him loyal to the village without the emotional trauma. Trauma that makes it harder for him to use its chakra.

Hate to disagree, but all babies are ugly. I have a son and yes, he was quite the ugly baby. IMO, they don’t become cute until they are toddlers. My son struggling with a gallon of milk because he wants to help put away groceries, now that’s cute.
