Sorry, forget what I said earlier. Initially, I thought that active skills required a particular action to activate them, such as a sword slash or parry, while passive skills didn't require any specific action. Therefore, I thought that swordsmanship and marksmanship were more like proficiencies and should be considered passive skills instead of active skills. But I now understand that the main difference between active and passive skills lies in the level of conscious effort and deliberate practice required to develop them, as opposed to the natural development of passive skills through experience and exposure.
Shouldn't this skill be passive instead of active?
