He looked around for the source of sound but could not really spot it due to its stature. Lin Wu was very small, his length was about two centimeters and his thickness was of about two millimeters as well. In every aspect, he could only be described as tiny. His color was dark brown and his skin was smooth, yet was not slimy like an earthworm.

Author's Note: Quick apology for the terrible book cover. Literally just took a pic of Kuroh Yatogami from the anime "K" and then a screenshot of the book title. It works for now though because that's how I picture MC when he gets older, just with bright blue eyes. But the sword, hair style and the body style all fits how I envisioned him in his teen years. Which is when the core of the story really takes place.

As someone who lost his parents at a young age in my past life, I tended to stick to the head mother like glue. Much to the dismay of the other kids, who seemed to all find me incredibly adorable and wanted my time to theirselves. Maeve specifically spoiled me, by picking me up sweets when she would go shopping. It's not like I really had the chance to develop any kind of true familial attachment to them yet, but I would be lying if I said they weren't growing on me.

(AN: I know people are going to be like "weak wish" and all that, but I only even gave him this wish because he doesn't have any fighting experience from his past life, while Arthur had years of 1on1 duels and various trainings growing up. Not to mention an energy similar to mana in his past life.)
