“piqued” and “picked” are two very different words. They are not even pronounced the same, and have different meanings. “Piqued” means to have one’s curiosity aroused, and has more of a long “e” sound, while “ picked” means to have chosen something, and has a short “i” sound.

Again, another good point….In most countries that have kings and queens, if the king is the heir to the throne, then marries, the wife will become a queen, ,but in the advent of the king’s death, she does not rule. (Kate Middleton and Prince william) The eldest legitimate heir would become ruler. Think queen elizabeth the first. Henry the eighth’ s wife at the time did not become ruler. Nope….just a duke….there is no king. Her parents are both dead, and she was unmarried at the time she abdicated.

Why would cassius “have to” marry isobella? Could he not choose someone else, or decide not to marry at all?
