Killing her wouldn’t have necessarily been filler if done right, for example Overlord does that really well, sometimes they’ll spend three chapters describing a character and talking from their perspective just to kill them, if only to show how cold nazarick is or how theirs no such thing as a person without a story, and they die all the same. I always love kingdom building so long as it’s more in depth than just saying someone built a town hall then a church then a bank, and not expanding on any of it. I’m glad to see you’re making a novel focused on kingdom building and can’t wait to see where it’ll go!
